Christmas toon?

Hi, I’m back! Just wanted to post a blog post after keeping you all waiting, the cartoon should be released in early to mid January, I am working on a few other projects like the Newgrounds Christmas Collab, I don’t wanna spoil much but it mostly gonna look like and old Disney short from the 30’s. Hopefully you all are doing well!

I am genuinely blown away that there are so many creative people on this site, I know you’ve probably heard me say it before but the people here will make animation (and basically creativity) go places it’s never before, also big shot out to everyone who’s pressed that pretty little follow button, here’s a hint for the first GooseoToon “Crows”

I tried to animate Sr Pelo’s characters but I’m crap at animating

I like a lot of old cartoons, MGM Tex Avery, Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, Terrytoons, etc, but I do like most art I see people making on this little creative corner of the web, but I saw one of Sr Pelo’s toons and said “This is hilarious!” So I will be talking about it now.

The faces and gags in here are timed amazingly and instead of using only two types of gags, Sr Pelo uses things like say Patchouli’s asthma, My personal favorite is when Hong Meiling sees the spell card and tries to run away. I’m not trying to praise the Afro person like a saint but I just wanted to give my two cents on it, I can’t wait to see what this community does for the future of animation!

I’m not the best at drawing but I have been using thing like training myself with comic book pages and or illustrations, still an amateur at this stuff though, perspective will kill me :). Also copying frames helps too, but I would just recommend drawing every day, and learning new things, that’s all I know.
